Arctic Namaste

For Indian travel agencies

Send your guests to Lapland with someone on the ground.

Your clients trust you with their family holiday. We make sure that trust holds up at -20 °C: a familiar language, familiar food and a host who looks after them.

What your guests get

Six promises we make to every group.

  • Met at arrival

A familiar face at Rovaniemi airport or station, and help all the way to the hotel.

  • Spoken to in their language

Hindi, Telugu or Nepali briefings on cold, safety and what to expect.

  • Food they can eat

Pure vegetarian and Jain meals, including packed lunches on activity days.

  • Care for every age

A pace that suits grandparents and toddlers, with warm-up breaks built in.

  • Someone to message

A WhatsApp number that answers during their stay, day and evening.

  • Licensed operators only

Activities run by licensed Lapland operators, coordinated by us.

Sample programme

Five days in Rovaniemi, planned for families.

An example to show how we pace a trip. Every programme is built around your dates, budget and guests.

  1. Day 1

    Arrival and settling in

Airport welcome, hotel check-in, cold-weather briefing and a warm vegetarian dinner.

  2. Day 2

    Huskies and reindeer

A family-paced farm visit with a packed Indian lunch. Rest in the afternoon.

  3. Day 3

    Arctic Circle and aurora

Crossing the Arctic Circle by day, an aurora outing in the evening.

  4. Day 4

    Snowmobile or free day

Snowmobiling for the adventurous, a slower day for elders and children.

  5. Day 5

    Departure

Breakfast, packing help and transfer to the airport.

Before they fly

What to tell your guests to pack.

Share this list with your clients. We cover the rest in the briefing on arrival, and can point them to winter clothing rental in Rovaniemi.

  • Thermal base layers (top and bottom) for every family member
  • Woollen socks and warm, waterproof boots with good grip
  • A warm hat that covers the ears, plus a scarf or neck gaiter
  • Regular medicines in hand luggage, with a short prescription note
  • Plug adapters (Type C/F) and a power bank: phones drain fast in the cold
